THE MAYAN PROPHECY PILGRIMAGE

HISTORY IN THE MAKING

For a very long time, millions of people all over the world have been waiting for the Mayans to give their accurate interpretation of the Mayan glyphs. Now it is finally going to happen. They are about to speak and reveal their beliefs about the coming times we are about to experience centered upon the Mayan Calendar, the most accurate calendar the world has ever known.

Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj, is a 13th generation Quiche Mayan high priest and elected leader of the National Mayan Council of Guatemala. The National Mayan Council of Guatemala consists of 440 elders (265 grandfathers and 175 grandmothers). Led by Don Alejandro the council will select ~25 high authority elders to interpret the glyphs and preserve the knowledge accurately for future generations. On November 26 and 27, 2007, we will sit with these 25 Mayan Council High Authorities in one of the villages in Guatemala as a world witness to their findings.

One Lotus LLC with Drunvalo Melchizedek and One Heart LLC with Diane Cooper will be co-sponsoring this gathering along with the Institute for Cultural Awareness as logistic coordinators to assist the Maya in completing this event. ICA is a 501c3 non-profit organization administered by Carmen & Adam Yellowbird.

Don Alejandro has said that the transcription of the elder gatherings will be compiled into a book which will then be signed by the entire National Mayan Council of Guatemala so the world knows for certain that this is the real prophecy. Then, this book is destined to be published in several languages.

After the initial witnessing of the completion of the Mayan Prophecy, Don Alejandro and his wife, Grandmother Elizabeth, will then take those attending the gathering on a journey to several sacred Mayan sites within Guatemala. The gathering will be filmed by One Heart Productions and will include the journey to the sacred sites which will follow.

We have been asked to bring many elders from around the world who will travel with us, such as the Kogi, Arhuaco and Wiwa Mamos from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Mountains in Colombia, the Waitaha and the Maori elders from New Zealand, and many other elders who wish to be with the Mayan at this time. They do not have the funds for this journey, but we will do everything we can to pay for their expenses. Your donations will make this possible.

If you wish to help us bring these elders to this important gathering through a tax-free donation, please give to the ICA organization and earmark it for the Mayan Journey. A tax-free certificate will be mailed to you. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.

Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj is the head of the National Mayan Council of Elders of Guatemala, Day Keeper of the Mayan Calendar, a 13th generation Quiche Mayan High Priest, a Grand Elder of the Continental Council of Elders & Spiritual Guides of the Americas, and an international lecturer on Mayan Culture. At 78 years old, he is recognized as a primary keeper of the teachings, visions, & prophecies of the Mayan people. He was trained in the traditional way to work with the elegant mathematics of the Mayan Calendar leading up to the Mayan year “Cero”, or 2012 in the Gregorian calendar.

His Mayan name Wakatel Utiw, Wandering Wolf, is the voice of the forest and messenger of the Mayan people. Wandering wolf travels to unite and give strength to Indigenous people around the world.

Don Alejandro speaks of vast and repetitive cycles of time contained within the Mayan Calendar. "The Mayan calendar never has been, nor will be, altered, because it is based on the stars,” he states. "The Calendar’s knowledge was hand down to the Maya by the Abuelos, the grandfathers who came from the stars."

Grandfather Alejandro shares, “We the Elders don’t think about ourselves, we think about the young ones and the future generations. A planet, while it is green, it is a life. It is a time of honoring diversity and a celebration of oneness. I have come in fulfillment of the prophecies that we may all walk together, no group shall be left behind.”

Grandfather Alejandro travels with his beautiful wife and translator Grandmother Elizabeth. Her gentle spirit emanates a warm and compassionate environment creating an atmosphere of acceptance that crosses cultural boundaries.

Adam Yellowbird, President of ICA, states, “With the assistance from Elders from around the world, we will unite as a unified people to connect with our true heart purpose. As our awareness of oneness becomes stronger, our responsibility for our Mother Earth becomes awaken.”

Carmen Gudin, Executive Director of ICA expresses, “We each have a responsibility to our children and the Earth. To me, this is history in the making and what a great honor for Grandfather Alejandro and his beautiful wife Grandmother Elizabeth to receive us in their sacred Mayan lands of Guatemala.”

Read More about the Mayan People

The Mayans were an advanced people. They were superb mathematicians & astronomers who devised one of the most accurate calendars known to man. The Mayan Calendar was devised through extremely accurate observations of the sun, the planets, the stars, "Precession of the Equinoxes" and the Milky Way galaxy. Mayan astronomers knew, through yet unknown methods, the exact location of the center of the Milky Way along with many other precise details of our cosmos. There is no question that the Mayans had a completely different perspective of time than modern man.

The Mayans were (and still are) able, through deep meditation, to exit the construct of time and access wisdom and knowledge to foretell future as well as past events.

The Mayan calendar has even broader and more profound implications. The Maya kept track of the flow, rate, and intent of Creation itself, or the evolution of consciousness throughout Creation.

According to the Mayans, we, or rather Consciousness has been down this same road four times before. There are scheduled impulses of Creation that are affecting global events right now and will continue through the next few years until this cycle ends.

The Mayans approached "prophecy" by deeply studying the periodicity of the cycles, especially astronomical cycles, and their synchronicity to human events. They were deeply spiritual and very aware of the role human consciousness plays in connecting to, and obtaining information from, nature. The Maya have a timely message for us all!
